Remembering I Actually Love Baseball...
...Especially when:--It's a sunny calm 62 degrees
--I'm sitting next to my handsome hubby
-- Eating a yummy everything-except-mayo sub
--My 11 year old is happily following the baby around
--My 14 year old ballplayer is playing awesome and having a blast
--It's a close competitive game
--Our team wins by one run
-- ...scored by my kid
Just call me a "Baseball Momma".

He looks great out there! You will have to let me know when his games are so I can do my aunt-ly cheering on :)
I love a good game of baseball or softball, too. Sounds like it was a great day!!
I bet you make a great baseball Mama!!
we had a baseball game last night........ in the rain... I felt chilled when we got home. We have another game tonight...hopefully it will be less wet!
Thanks for stopping by! Looks like it was a great day. Yeah, I'm only a baseball fan when my little brother is playing; he's so fun to watch!
Enjoy,
Erin
Congratulations to your boy!! What a thrill.
I can't wait for "rec league" softball to start for the summer in Central Park!
Your boy looks great. Go Astros!
I Love baseball too!!! I love that so far 3 of my 4 boys also love it. We live next to a big spring training park and t gets us all pumped up for spring ball for the boys!!!
That sounds like the perfect way to watch a game! *sigh* I love baseball. I love spring. How nice for you!!! :)
ahhh. i hope your weather is that perfect all season long. :) that picture scares me a little, b/c it looks like the bat's going to hit the ump in the head. :) i'm sure it won't, but still.
your couch story, below, cracked me up.
Great post Mary! I can't wait till our kids are old enough to do those sorts of things!
I don't really like to watch baseball, myself. But, if it were the way you just described, I just might change my mind. Especially if that sub had any pastrami on it. Congratulations to your son and his proud mom!
Memories in the making, right before our very eyes. This is "the good stuff", Mary. I'm getting goosebumps as I type this.
Keep taking those photos, you'll have to split them umpteen ways someday, you know. :)
aww I can hardly wait to watch a game of my daughters!
Sounds like such a great day for a game....I am almost wishing I had boys so I could enjoy a similar experience.
I finally did your Monday challenge....I am a bit behind!!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
I miss the good old spring games.
