You could call their room the "Sandia" room. Sandia=watermelon in Spanish. I see the Sandia Mt. outside my kitchen window and truth be told at sunset they're about the color of this room. (maybe not quite so bright!)
Beautiful job & nice color. Makes me happy & cheerful just looking at the picture.
So, so sweet. A perfect little girls' room. And even sweeter is that twenty years from now, they're going to remember that you did this for them. You're just the best mom!
How adorable! I'll bet she's thrilled. We did a pink room when we moved into our house 1.5 years ago -- with a white chair rail about half way up (and painted white below the chair rail) and a (wallpapered) trompe l'oiel window. We had one very happy five year old, I'll tell you!
I am Mary. 20 years ago I married my high school sweetheart. We have kids in college, high school, junior high, grade school, preschool, and diapers, 8 altogether. Half arrived via adoption. I homeschool. I kiss owies. I write. I eat chocolate. I garden. I cook. I take pictures obsessively. I am very busy and very, very blessed.
I write at my Owlhaven Wordpress blog, my Ethiopia adoption blog and at LargerFamilies.com

Very cute!
what a great little girls room.
Well, that turned out so nice! And the pink isn't all Pepto-bismol-ish.
Great color choice!
