Our kids are really little (2 and 6 months) so we are just starting the traditions thing with them. One thing we are going to do is plant those little tiny pumpkins in our flowerbed, then when they get big enough we will cut them all of the vines and that night the Great Pumpkin will come and hide them all over the yard, kinda like Easter eggs. We thought it sounded kinda fun and unique. Hopefully we will actually do it! :)
I am Mary. 20 years ago I married my high school sweetheart. We have kids in college, high school, junior high, grade school, preschool, and diapers, 8 altogether. Half arrived via adoption. I homeschool. I kiss owies. I write. I eat chocolate. I garden. I cook. I take pictures obsessively. I am very busy and very, very blessed.
I write at my Owlhaven Wordpress blog, my Ethiopia adoption blog and at LargerFamilies.com

We celebrate "Gotcha Day" - February 14th - the day we adopted our 3 little ones.
