You Made My Day!! (twice actually)

First of all, I was delighted to see the numbers of people already interested in adoption. Hooray for the kids! And if finances are an issue, you might be interested in the finance story I wrote today for Ethiopia Adoption Blog. You most decidedly do NOT have to be rich to adopt.

The other 'made my day' item is here
Share The Love Blog Awards :: Finalists Are In! :: Yes, I am a finalist!! YEAH!!!! I am so thrilled and so honored. Go check out all the finalists and then vote again! Congrats to everyone!! And thanks to everyone who had a part in making my day!!

Congrats on making it to the finals in the blog contest!

Could you write about how you budget to support all your kids on a daily basis? Our only child is adopted from Ethiopia and would eventually like to adopt another.

Saving the money for the initial adoption over time seems to be easier for us than figuring out how we'll afford diapers and formula and clothes and everything else every month for another kid. I don't think we're very good at figuring out where we can cut costs so we end up with more money at the end of each month and I'd love to hear how you budget for 8.

Owl,

Your girls look SO much alike. With all the different tribes and looks in Ethiopia, that is amazing. Do you know if they are from the same part of the country? Oh wait, I am not sure if you already said if they are bio or not.........

They are making me want a girl. We have an AA son and to be honest, the girl hair worried me a little bit but now......I think I need some curls....:-)

Budgeting for 8 is a challenge. We will have three in diapers, that will be challenge enough....

Bek, My girls are both from Wollaita-Sodo, south of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. They are most likely not biologically related. However, God knew they were meant to be sisters even before they were born!
