Sunday

These balloons were released by the great-grandchildren at my grandpa's funeral on Saturday. I'm so blessed to have had him in my life, and so glad to know I will see him in heaven. He was a hard-working Godly man who left a legacy of 6 children, 21 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren. The verses below were some of the many favorites he had underlined in his Bible.

Psalm 103:11-17
2 Corinthians 5:17

1 John 1:7

What a beautiful, touching testimony to a Godly man. He fought the fight, he ran the race, he finished his course. So shall he ever be with the Lord.
Amen.

Wow. That balloon picture is amazing. I'd have it framed to cherish the memory.

I'll look up the verses later today, in my next "quiet time".

What a wonderful picture. I'm envisioning it at the center of a collage or shadow box frame, with other mementos surrounding it....

Absolutely amazing! Praise the Lord for his life...and what a neat way to celebrate that he's worshiping Jesus perfectly in heaven now - letting all those balloons go!!!!
