Screamish Strikes Again
This morning we girls got all dressed and ready for church and decided we coordinated so nicely that a picture was in order. This was not, however, the one year old's idea of a good time. Despite her usual hamminess, today she would have none of it. Here's one of the first shots we got.Don't you love our determined smiles in spite of the little spitfire tantrum going on in our midst? Finally after much cajoling and the 7 and 8 year olds jumping up and down behind the camera, we managed to get this.

You and your girls make such a pretty picture!
You have an amazing family. It is inspiring.
Thank you for sharing on my blog. I look forward to following yours.
She is adorable screaming like that. I love "real" pictures that capture what was really happening before all the perfect smiles. CUTE!
Pictures like the top one will only remind you one day what it was like to be the mother of a one year old. Your two older daughters look JUST LIKE YOU!!
I am in total awe of someone who has adopted four children. Wow! I have a friend at church who is in the process of trying to adopt a child from Haiti-- but her grant just fell through. I'll definitely be directing her to your blog.
Suzanne, The skirt is from Christopher & Banks
and This One's For The Girls---I hope your friend will check out my Ethiopia Adoption blog. Haiti is pretty unstable right now...Ethiopia has a good program...

you girls are gorgeous! thanks for sharing...
What a beautiful pic of you and your girls!
Awwwww! Such pretty girls! The number of retakes goes up proportionate to the number of subjects in our house too!
y'all look great! (please tell your older daughters i really like their shoes, because, well, i do.)
Y'all are adorable. Adorable.
Love the pictures - the first is hilarious! What a beautiful family!
You guys look great. I LOVE that you all just stayed posed and smiling, not wanting to be the one looking away in case she actually calmed down. That is hilarious.
You can lead a kid to the camera, but you can't make her smile, LOL, :)
Those pics are both keepers, too. :)
You may need ammunition some day, and besides, these are the kinds of pics I like best....They show character, not poses. :)
Love, love, love it! Real life pictures are so great!
What a precious family you have!! I can't believe you look so young, must be all those kids running around you all the time : )
Awww...what a typical Kodak moment for a one-year-old. My son, who never cried or fussed or was unhappy - ever- turned into a Baby Mr. Hyde when we went to have our first family portrait done. The photographer so did not believe that this child had, up to that point, been a living angel.
I guess it happens. Great final photo, though! Gorgeous kids!
such a beautiful bunch. :) i love the first one, with her screaming. too cute.

What beautiful girls. And I love your blog, by the way. I've been lurking for some time now.
I've been hearing Ethiopia calling me for a while now. I know we're meant to adopt a little one from there sometime. Just waiting for the go-ahead from the man upstairs.
Screaming or not screaming, you've got beautiful girls.
I love the screaming photo! I mean, both are great, but the screaming photo will be the subject of conversation for years to come. :-)
Beautiful girls!
It is so hard to get a picture with everyone in it cooperating. Since Christmas I have tried several times to get a good shot of all 4 kids, and always someone is frowning, blinking or pouting. I figure eventually I will snap the perfect shot....hopefully before the first leaves for college.
Mommy and her girls, loves it!
