Baby Hands
Today I wrote about Baby Hands on my Ethiopia Adoption Blog. I'd love your comments on it, either there or here. You may also want to check out the Carnival of Kid Comedy #12 over at Kim's place! My Pavarotti story is there, as well as a bunch of other funny kid stuff.
Oh, and don't forget to stop by tomorrow. I'll be doing my 'Perfect Post' Award for May, and it's a good one! (If you don't know what the Perfect post is, scroll down in my sidebar to the search box, plug in 'perfect post' and it will pull up last month's post.
I have been LOOOVing that search box, by the way! Any time I want to link to an old post of mine, instead of laboriously pulling up archive after archive trying to remember when I wrote the post, all I have to do is type in a keyword or two, and up it pops!

That was a beautiful post. I love little toddler hands - they are the pink of perfection!
The baby hands post was really good - warm fuzzies abound.
:)
Baby hands are so precious! Your post made me think of my little Anna's hands as she reaches up for me and calls "mama". I never thought I'd be so fortunate to hear those words and have the love of a baby!
What a beautiful and moving post! You have been such an inspiration to me as I patiently (trying to at least) wait for God's timing regarding our possible adoption. Thank you for posting with such honesty, inspiration, and integrity.
Wow...what a post!
That was beautiful Mary!!
Oh Mary...you know how to speak to a Mother's heart..
I read your article over at the Ethiopa Adoption Blog. Absolutely beautiful. Exactly what I needed to hear.
Mary -- that was such a beautiful and moving post. I totally FEEL what you are saying, and can close my eyes and picture my son doing the same thing. I love when he puts his hands on either side of my face and draws me close for an Eskimo kiss.
Sigh.
Thank you for that very special post.
Loved the baby hands post. Reminds me of my little 13 month old right now!
Oh, the memories the Baby Hands post brings back, Mary. :-)
And you're right, love knows no color, race or any other boundaries....Thank you, Lord.
I love baby's hands. They are so pink and little. It's hard to imagine that their fingers will ever be big. I think one of the most precious things in the world is when a baby grabs a hold of your finger... Thanks for bringing back such precious memories for me...
i will check out the post after dinner. i love the picture though...
Like I've been telling everyone we are back from our long week, and I'm finally back to blogging again. Great to see your posts again. Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend!
Beautiful post.
About 6 years ago, when my middle daughter was three, my husband looked at her pudgy little hands and said "Julie, promise me you'll never lose your baby hands." She said "don't worry dad. They don't come off easily." :-)
