J is for...
Along with Shannon of Rocks In My Dryer, I'm playing an ABC game y'all may have seen floating around. She has assigned me the letter J.Ten Significant Words Beginning With J.
1. J is for Jesus, my Savior, the reason I do not have to fear death.
2. J is for John, the wonderful man I married almost 20 years ago.
3. J is for the joy my family gives me every day. I am incredibly blessed.
4. J is for jeans, both the ones I wear three-fourths of the year, and the ones my 4 sons run through like water. Where's a jeans tree when ya need one, anyway??
5. J is for judge and jury, something I am expected to be every time my kids squabble over Legos or cookies or computer time.
6. J is for jiggly, which unfortunately describes my tummy rather well-- a motherly sacrifice I would make a hundred times over for even one of my precious kids. (My love of chocolate has nothing at all to do with this situation, just so ya know.)
7. J is for the junk in my closet, because I keep thinking someday I may actually want to look at old yearbooks or wedding cards or magazines.
8. J is for the jars and jars of garden produce that my family and I process each summer.
9. J is for June, the month I was born, 9 months and 3 days after my parents' wedding day. (And I was 3 days late.)
10. J is for the wonderfully interesting journey my life so far has been. I said when I was a teenager that I would never have more than four children. I am incredibly grateful to have been wrong about that.

I have been reading your blog for a while now and I think you are great.
My sister KEP won your golden keyboard award a few weeks ago and she assigned me the letter M after ABC Momma assigned her the letter E. Have a great holiday weekend!
