Ah, babies who nap during movies -- excellent. I remember taking my kiddo to a movie when he was a baby, and timing everything perfectly so that he slept throughout the film. I thought I had this motherhood thing handled. I was wrong. ;^) Congratulations on a successful and inexpensive family outing -- no small accomplishment! :-)

that totally rocks!
I think I spent that much on the concession stand taking my 5 yr old to see Ice Age 2 -his first ever movie (if you don't count Rush Hour 2 when he was 4 wks old.) And that was just for the super galactic enormo larger-than-texas-size beverage that guarantees said 5 yr old will have to race to the bathroom before the movie is over.
I'm more impressed that you were able to take a family of 10 to the movies without losing your sanity, I won't even take more than 1 at a time. (Did I mention that my boys are a little - er - rambunctious....)
I can totally picture a "mastercard" moment commercial here. Glad the baby slept through most of it, and that you were able to take the whole family on an outing. Things like that are what they will remember fondly.

we just did the same thing. Except with half as many kids. We are so blessed! We just discovered a $2 theater one town over. I am so excited!
And we really liked Ice Age 2. My kids have this knack though for needing to go the bathroom during the funniest parts of the movie..

What a great time! My kiddos are home from their grandparents, and a night like that seems to be in order!

Man, I LOVE a good, cheap thrill :-)

I wish my baby would still nap through movies.

I took my girls to see this movie and we had a great time. Didn't you love the great golden acorn in the sky?!
