...well, of course...!
The other day my preschooler came to me, upset, and said, "I hurt my nickel!""Your nickel?" I asked, puzzled as to why she was concerned about an injury to the contents of her piggy bank.
"Yeah, I got an owie on my nickel," she said, and then pointed to the back of her hand.
At that point I laughed so heartily that she was embarrassed and almost refused to let me take this picture for you.
Poor little nickels. They got kissed as soon as I figured out what they were.

Aw, you just tell her she shouldn't be embarrassed for being adorable. ;^) What a sweetie.

She is so sweet!

How cute!...reminds me of when Isa was wearing a shirt that was irritating her chest -- she told me, "Mommy, my nibbles are sore."
Now nibbles are very famous, too famous, around my house.
Comments?? woohoo!! Is Blogger really getting his act together??
Mary, going through comment withdrawal today...
When my oldest daughter was young she called ears euuuzzzz. I still miss the sound of that. Now that her son comes up with sweet names I remind her to write them down on the calendar and at the end of the year jot them in his baby book. Sweet memories.
Isn't it funny how they get embarrassed?
so cute.
my little guy used to call belgian waffles bulgin waffles - because they were thick and he thought that's why they were called bulging waffles.
WHAT A CUTIE! And good advice Bev, yes, our babies say the cutist things and soon, too soon they will be forgotten!
Woohoo, I can comment today, which hasn't been the case for the past couple of days.
It's so good to write down the cute things our children say, for fun souvenirs later on.
Hope her "nickle" is okay.
What cute nickels!
Oh, poor little nickels! So glad you coaxed the picture. So cute. And yes, it is good to finally be able to comment!
Glad to know I wasn't the only one having "blogger" problems!!
